Electric Umbrella took centre stage at the TES SEND Show 2024, lighting up the event with live performances and engaging with SEND professionals, parents, and students. Our learning disabled rockstars inspired attendees and filled the room with music, laughter, and a conga line!
On October 11th and 12th 2024, we had the privilege of exhibiting and performing at the TES SEND Show, the UK’s premier event for special education needs, held at the Islington Business Design Centre.
The show is a gathering point for SEND professionals across the education sector, including teachers from SEND and mainstream schools, representatives from the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, local authorities, as well as parents and students.
Throughout the weekend, our Electric Umbrella stand was buzzing with activity as we introduced our school programmes and school leaver initiatives to new audiences. Visitors got to experience the Electric Umbrella magic first-hand, and the presence of our learning disabled rockstars on both the stand and stage left a lasting impression.
A highlight of the event was our performance at the Exhibitor Workshop Theatre. Breaking away from the typical schedule of speeches, our talented crew took the stage, delivering a performance that got the entire audience involved, singing along, and even leading a conga line from the entrance to our stand!
We made such an impact that our appearance was celebrated all over TES SEND Show’s social media. Photos from our debut last year were also featured in the official show programme and the sales brochure for an upcoming event in Dubai.
Electric Umbrella continues to showcase how music can unite and uplift, spreading joy and inclusivity wherever we go!
