At Electric Umbrella, we create extraordinary live music experiences with learning disabled people, transforming perceptions and fostering inclusion.
Whether you’re here to perform or to enjoy the show, we promise a magical experience filled with music, joy, and inspiration.

Join us for a joyful afternoon of live music, vibrant performances, and community celebration.
This is your chance to experience something truly unforgettable. Expect an electric afternoon for you and the whole family.
- Date: Saturday 20th June
- Location: Lynsters Farm, Maple Cross, Rickmansworth WD3 9XJ
- Time: Gates open at 12pm, music 1-5pm
- Free and inclusive for everyone but you must book a ticket, that includes members, carers, guests, children… everyone!
- Parking must be pre-booked: Onsite parking is available for £5 per car (plus Eventbrite fee), book with your ticket.
NOTE: There is a large open lake on-site. Mostly, it will be fenced off and volunteers will be onsite as marshalls but please be aware that some supervision may be required.
No dogs on site. Assistance animals only.

What will the toilet situation be like? Will there be accessible toilets available?
There will be portaloos on site, including accessible (disabled) toilets. We are also trying to hire a hoist and bench to provide a Changing Places-style area, but this isn’t confirmed yet. Check back closer to the event for confirmation.
Will there be food/drink available to purchase on site, and will it be cash or card?
There will be hot and cold food available on site, plus a licensed bar. Food and drink will be paid (not free). Payment method (cash/card) is still to be confirmed.
How far is parking from the site, and will there be a drop-off point?
On-site parking will be paid and must be pre-booked due to numbers. There will be a drop-off point, and there will also be limited pre-bookable accessible parking adjacent to the stage.
Can attendees bring camping chairs and/or blankets/picnic blankets?
There will be limited seating available at the venue, and attendees are welcome to bring their own camping chairs and blankets.
Is public transport available to/from the site (best routes/stops)?
Yes. The nearest bus stops are on Denham Way (approx. 300 yards from Lynsters Farm):
Other common options include:
- 724 bus to The Cross (then ~10 min walk)
- W1 bus to Downings Wood Terminus (then ~8 min walk)
- The nearest train station is Rickmansworth Station (Metropolitan Line / Chiltern Railways). From there, you’ll need a bus connection to Denham Way or a taxi.
Come and dance the night away with DJ Annie-Grace. Authentic club night experience with strobe lighting and very loud dance music. Access to a quieter chill-out room is also available.

- Free entry (thanks to generous funding from the National Lottery), but you will need a ticket, and so will your carer or friend attending with you

Open Mic
Join us at our famous Open Mic in Watford with our live band! Whether you’re performing or supporting, a wonderful evening in a safe and welcoming environment is guaranteed.
- Date: Third Tuesday of Each Month
- Location: Mad Squirrel Tap, Kings Street, Watford
- Time: 8pm to 10pm
- Entry: Free
Please Note: Limited Slots Available
With the popularity of our Open Mic Nights, we sometimes receive more sign-ups than available performance slots. We appreciate everyone’s interest and enthusiasm and do our best to accommodate everyone, but slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Final confirmation of performance slots will be sent out by the Friday prior to the event.
Can’t make it this time? We’ll be here the third Tuesday of every month or you can join us online the first Thursday of every month. Learn more about it here.
